Gaining employment skills through job simulation

The Center of Hope has a new job simulation program to help the participants gain employment skills so they can earn a paycheck. The program, which started in early September, is designed for both participants who can work independently and for those who need some supervision.

The Center of Hope works with some local companies such as Woodward, Inc., Collins Aerospace and Endries to provide work for some of the participants.

“I have a great group of workers who are awesome. I have been working on putting together simulated jobs, so that I can train and get other participants ready for an actual paid job,” said Jennifer Fishe, Hope Industries supervisor.
