Your May update from the Center of Hope
This month, we’re excited to share what we’ve been up to out in the community, our time spent enjoying nature, a spotlight on staff member Michael Whittie, two new grants – plus much more.

Community Moments
Last month was packed with adventure—shooting hoops at VanVleet court, browsing books, enjoying the horses at Lockwood Park, exploring the beauty of Klehm Arboretum for Arbor Day, and collecting natural materials to craft our own Earth Day bird feeders.

Edgebrook Farmers Market
Stop by our booth at the Edgebrook Farmers Market each Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. We bring a variety of handmade items created by our participants, along with potted plants and our popular GourMutts dog biscuits. We’d love to see you there!

Rockford Handmade Market
Thank you for coming out and visiting our table at the Prairie Street Brewing Co. Handmade Market on May 3. We had lots of great Mother’s Day gifts available and of course our dog treats!
