The Birthday Store is ready for business

The Center of Hope is making final preparations for the new Birthday Store. The store, opening next week, will give the participants a chance to pick out a gift in celebration of their birthdays. “We decided to start the Birthday Store because a lot of our guys don’t get gifts or much of a celebration of their birthdays,” said Kelley Peterson, participant services director.

The store will carry items such as CDs, professional sports items, travel mugs, water bottles, art and craft supplies, and more. If you’d like to donate an item or make a monetary donation to the store, you can contact Kelley at 815.964.9275.
