Meet Melinda Moreau

Myndie Moreau is a lead direct support professional and has been at the Center of Hope for six years. We asked Myndie to share some of her thoughts about the time he has been at the Center.

Please describe your role at the Center. I am a Lead DSP (Direct Support Professional) I started in 2017, left in December of 2022 and came back in May of 2023 I’m here to help, Wherever I’m needed I go. I’m here to support the staff and participants anyway I can.

Why did you choose this field? I started as an Activity Aide in 1997 and fell in love with the field.

What advice would you give someone who is interested in working at the Center? Be ready for anything!! Kindness and respect for the participants goes a long way.

What is the biggest change you’ve seen? The downsizing in staff and participants.

What keeps you at the Center?  Definitely the participants.
