Getting in the holiday spirit

The participants have been busy this holiday season, from ringing bells for the Salvation Army, to having Santa stopping by to getting items ready for the Handmade Market at Prairie Street Brewing Co.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities

We celebrated “International Day of Persons with Disabilities” by presenting our participants with certificates highlighting their outstanding abilities. We are so thankful for our participants and all the unique abilities they choose to share with us each day.

Center of Hope receives a grant from Try-Beta Club

Barbara Olson Center of Hope is proud to announce it has received a $2,200 grant from the Try-Beta Club to purchase a purchase recreation equipment for our participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities. READ MORE

Welcome new staff members

Ed Fleming, Quality Intellectual Disabilities Professional (DSP) and Carla Cline, Direct Support Professional (DSP) are the Center of Hope’s newest staff members.

With the new year two weeks away, we’re at 68% of our fundraising goal. In the midst of it all, we want to take a moment to thank you for believing and for your commitment to helping individuals with developmental disabilities.

Hope for Tomorrow Construction Update

We have completed our parking lot repaving project and are finishing up Phase 1 of our participant restroom renovations. We’re now moving on to Phase 2 of the renovations. We’ll keep you posted on our progress.
