BARBARA OLSON CENTER OF HOPE Receives Contribution from Midland States Bank Foundation
ROCKFORD, IL – SEPTEMBER 10, 2024 – Barbara Olson Center of Hope is pleased to announce a $7,500 contribution by Midland States Bank. The grant, provided by the Midland States Bank Foundation, will support Barbara Olson Center of Hope Bridges to the Future transition program.
“The Bridges program is an essential need for families to understand the system and services available for their child as they age out of the school system. Too many families do not have the necessary information to make well informed choices for the future,” said Pamela Carey, executive director.
Bridges to the Future is a program at Barbara Olson Center of Hope that provides student transition services (support, education, resources, etc.) to individuals, their families, and professionals in Winnebago County.
“Together with our Community Impact Investment Statement, the Midland States Bank Foundation is a powerful way for us to give back to our communities,” commented Jeffrey G. Ludwig, President and CEO of Midland States Bancorp, Inc. “The funds we set aside from the Bank’s profits help us put our company’s culture in action to benefit the communities we serve.”
The Midland States Bank Foundation supports the general welfare, education and health of the communities where the Bank operates. Since its creation in 2011, the Foundation has contributed more than $1,900,000 to non-profit organizations throughout Midland’s footprint.
