Break-ins at the Center of Hope
The Center of Hope has experienced a rash of thefts at our facility. Over three recent weekends, individuals entered the property and stole the catalytic converters from nine vehicles. We are working with authorities to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
“This affects our transportation capabilities. Even though the vehicles are not available, we are committed to doing whatever is needed to still provide the transportation that is required for the participants to have the services they deserve,” said Pamela Carey, executive director.
Financially, the Center of Hope will incur expenses for covering the insurance deductibles and providing additional security measures. The outpouring of generosity from the community has been overwhelming.
