  • BCBA

    Barbara Olson Center of Hope is a Non-Profit organization searching for a Master’s level BCBA to work with adults with developmental and physical disabilities. This position will work in a community based setting to support individuals with behavioral and emotional challenges in working toward maximizing independence and inclusion in the community. This position will be responsible for, this list is not all inclusive:


    • Consult as necessary with the team regarding appropriate support in the implementation of behavioral and habilitation plans
    • Designing, implementing and teaching staff to implement behavior observation systems, training/support plans, and behavior intervention guidelines
    • Act as an advocate and coordinate behavioral support services and community resources
    • Provide instruction to staff on the correct implementation of program plans
    • Oversee maintenance of the necessary documentation of services, provides progress reports for consumer’s immediate support group, including their family, staff, employment specialist, case manager and other professionals
    • Ability to work varied work schedule to meet with families as needed
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to exercise good judgment
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Supervision of staff


    Master’s degree in psychology or related field BCBA Certificate required. Minimum of two years working with developmental disabilities/autism and functional behavior assessments preferred.   Demonstrated knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis.


    Monday thru Friday – no weekends, excellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance for full time position (hours are negotiable).  


  • Direct Support Professional Aide - Full Time

    Caring hands-on support staff needed to work directly with developmentally disabled participants of all levels of functioning.  Responsibilities include toileting, daily care, eating, transportation and assisting with activities of daily living. Candidates who apply need to be versatile and have the ability to change as the needs of the Center require on a daily basis.  Barbara Olson Center of Hope is an innovative and fast paced environment and is looking for individuals that can grow with the Center. DSP Aide positions require a High School diploma or equivalent. Valid Illinois Driver's License.
